ReverendMilo Review:
Methane Studios, as far as I can tell, is two self taught bad-asses that explore a large spectrum of design techniques, and like to include subtle skulls... The print is wicked cool. It is the first print released on jet black paper, and also the first print released oriented landscape. It is beautiful and draws you into the metaphor of the van - a hearse. Brilliant.
I have to say that in person, this is in contention for my favorite prints. It is beautiful to see in real life, the experience just does not translate via images online. Not being very savvy with the entire silk screening process, I still can tell this was a precise and delicate work requiring years of experience. It is truly a marvel to see with your own eyes. I was both happy and sad the day it sold out. I gave one as a present, now I wish I hadn't and kept both.
